Strawberry Banana Overnight Oats

For years now I’ve been seeing various overnight oat recipes all over facebook and pinterest, but since I’m not a huge fan of yogurt I’ve never tried one. So recently I decided to go looking for a recipe that didn’t require yogurt as an ingredient.

Once I found that regular milk could be used, it was now just a matter of finding which ingredients I wanted to add. Last month I made a delicious strawberry banana smoothie and it seemed like a no brainer to make that into an overnight oats breakfast.

It turned out quite different than I had expected. It was good, but not something that I would do on a regular basis. Maybe it was just this particular flavor combination that didn’t knock my socks off, but for me, a freshly prepared breakfast is just better in my opinion.
