If there were one staple in my diet, it would have to be chicken. We eat it so often that some might call it more of a habit than a choice. Fried, baked, boiled, slow cooked, grilled, you name a way to cook a chicken and we’ve tried it. So I am always looking for new recipes that add a little different taste. When I found the Cajun seasoning recipe, one of the first ideas that popped into my head was that it would have to be tried on baked chicken.
While Cajun seasoning is used more often on seafood or in soups and gumbo it really brings a different flavor to any meat and I would recommend trying it to spice up some of those staple meals.
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 3-4 tbsp Cajun seasoning
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Sprinkle or rub Cajun seasoning onto chicken.
Cook 35-40 minutes or until internal temp of chicken reaches 165 degrees.
